Just another quiet day in Iowa ..

My days are pretty quiet now.


The flowers have stopped blooming.


I slowly work on new products for the Summer Kitchen.

Spice blends 

I embroidered a new tea towel.

This is a rare breed chicken ... very cute but won't show up here too often!!!!

I've been knitting dishcloths.

Apple dishcloths ... also available in yellow and green.

I've tightened up the house .... trying to block the cold air from rushing in.

Honey put the snow tires on the truck.

He has been splitting wood for winter.

We went to my class reunion.

Yes .... it was a small class.  That is roughly half of us.

I baked bread.

I've taught classes.

I spoke in front of a crowd of 3500 people.

 

I was energizing the crowd for this guy! 

He didn't need my help!  ;)

We've bought chicken feed.

I went to Stringtown and stocked up!

And last night .....

We met this guy!

Vice President Biden stopped by the campaign office.

Maybe my life hasn't been as quiet as I thought!
