A local pot of Gold...........

I got an email from my friends at the Davenport Freight House Farmers Market. This St. Paddy's Day go green at the market and find your pot of gold. Dennis Kraklio is doing corn beef and cabbage.... if its anything like his hot dogs ........... YUMMMM!

So watch the only bi-state St. Patrick's Day parade in the nation on the riverfront and visit the Freight House to have a really green day.

Davenport Freight House Farmers Market - (Davenport, Iowa)

Be Irish for the day at the Freight House Farmers' Market. Beginning at 8:00AM we will be giving away 170 reusable Market Totes to the first customers through our doors. Dennis Kraklio, owner of Big Dog's Hot Dogs, our amazing in house food prep king, will be preparing and serving an Irish feast of LOCAL corned beef, supplied by Ives Grossman of Grossman's Meats with delicious veggies donated by Blossom Farm's Hal and Dawn Dykema. Rhonda Groh of the Bakery will be baking Irish Soda Bread to complete the meal. All children in attendance will be encouraged to participate in coloring St. Patrick's Day coloring book pages that will decorate the market walls until our Easter Event and all those little artist's will be thanked with free green-themed cookies baked by our own Angie Kent from Cookies by Angie. The perfect Parade-day activity for families along the beautiful Davenport riverfront!
