Water Water Everywhere............

What a busy busy week! I have a lot to say and not enough time to say it.

So -- I'll give you all a quick summary.

I have been baking like a wild woman! I think that is probably a given since I have been known as a bit of a wild woman!

I have baked 2 loaves of glazed lemon bread (recipe will follow in a day or so) a sour-cream chocolate cake that is to die for!!! and a batch of filbert bars. Yesterday ........ I baked four batches of mini cream puffs that I kept burning their butts!! But today the problem is solved so two batches of mini cream puffs are done and if I get enough time, I will bake one more batch!

And why am I baking like a wild woman????

Because this wonderful, kind, generous woman asked me to ............................

I don't think you have any idea how much your presence has meant over the last month...year...in this effort for clean water! I do believe it was you who helped get the wheels turning and ball rolling when we first caught wind of Scott Harrison coming to Iowa months ago. So thank you so much for talking about the party, for baking all those delicious desserts, for showing up with your beautiful Honey...for all of your emails and words of encouragement! Oh, I could go on! I just love you guys so much. We're in this together...and I am so glad!!!

Leslie --- I am so honored to call you, friend. I am proud to know a woman that wants so much for so many others. You and Tessie and Cassie are amazing. And Beth did a beautiful job with such an overflowing table!!! It was through you that I met Sarah and Jen and Bridgit.
